Bare Minimum Magazines for SHTF: How Many Do You Need? How many magazines do you need for preparedness purposes? This is my method for calculating the bare minimum I need for pistols and rifles.
You can never have enough magazines in all honesty. But there should be a goal for how many would be a good number in case of emergencies. Pistols and rifles are different and have different applications. The level of abuse and philosophy of use differs for those two magazine types but the minimum quantity required is still based on the same concept for me. What is your bare minimum magazine count? How many make you feel comfortable?
