Best Way To Store Ammo For SHTF What's the best way to store ammunition for SHTF? You'd want it to be easy to access, ready to be used and portable right? Well, here's how to do that!
The MTM Tactical Mag Can is a great way to store fully loaded magazines for your rifle, pistol or both! They are durable enough and will keep your mags and ammo protected from the elements in most situations. My suggestion is to get one Tactical Mag Can for standard capacity AR-15 magazines and a Tactical Multi Mag Can for both AR-15 magazines and double stack pistol magazines. By getting these two cans, you will need 25 AR-15 mags and 10 double stack pistol mags. For the mags and ammo type I have chosen, that would also equate to 750 rounds of rifle ammunition and 170 rounds of pistol ammunition. When it comes to pistol magazines, my suggestion is to spend the extra money and get factory, OEM magazines for your handgun. Even though you can save money by buying aftermarket magazines, they are generally not as reliable as the factory mags which is why I personally feel it is worth the extra cost to just go factory.
