Spare Gun Parts All Preppers Should Have If you are prepping for SHTF and want to keep your firearms up and running, then here's a list of some spare parts you might need to stockpile now.
Of course there are lots of different firearm platforms and types that people will likely need to maintain during a SHTF scenario. However, for the purpose of logistics and ease of maintenance, I used the AR-15 and Glock as my examples. You can apply the same Glock principals to most any other polymer, double stack, striker fired pistol out there. However, the AR-15 us uniquely easy to not only work on but, to source parts for. If you are set on running something more proprietary like an AK-47, M14 , AR-10 or anything else less universal, then make sure you read up on what parts encounter breakages most often and what tools you would need to be able to perform those repairs.
