As we took shelter, weather alerts flooded our phones, warning of the devastation to come. This video documents the raw reality of experiencing such a violent storm firsthand.
We are incredibly fortunate—no lives were lost among our family or animals—but the damage to our land and forest is severe. Sadly, many of our neighbors lost everything. This storm serves as a sobering reminder of nature’s power and the resilience required to rebuild.
