Near the tiny Latvian village of Klavi are the ruins on an old cold war era Soviet military base with bunkers still intact. Supposedly this was the launch site for shorter range nuclear ballistic missiles from Soviet Russia. Though as we explore the ruins we find a still intact building and what looks like a new building. Turns out this might be an active Latvian military site again but this time around for NATO. We get away from the place once we notice the presence of security. We were on the way anyway to meet up with off-road motorcycle riding enduro and camping crew called Outduro. They invited us to camp out with them and have a chat.
