Bushcraft in Heavy Rain – Building Shelter, Fire Wall & Survival Skills

After a long hike deep into the wild, I finally found the perfect spot for my camp. Heavy rain was pouring down, so I quickly set up my waterproof tarp using ropes and wooden poles to build a sturdy shelter against the rain.

I took a short rest and then headed into the forest to collect long logs for building a fire wall. You can watch the full process of making this protective fire wall in the video. After that, I gathered dry wood for fuel and, using a cotton ball fire starter and a fire steel, managed to light a warm and reliable fire even in the wet weather.

Once the fire was going, I prepared a hot meal and enjoyed it with a nice cup of campfire tea.
In my videos, you can learn bushcraft skills, wilderness survival techniques, and outdoor camping tips.

On the second day of camping, I moved to another location. Unlike the first day, when the rain was pouring nonstop, the weather on day two was much better. Watch the video to see all the adventures from the second day!
