What I Use 3 Emergency Survival Food Options For And Why MRE's, Survival Ration Bars and Freeze-Dried Meal Packs are all great emergency food options. But what are the best ways to use them?
SHTF prepping covers a lot of bases and very few are more important than emergency survival food. This is separate from your usual food storage or pantry due to the fact that these 3 options have lots of use outside of your home. This includes at your bug out location, inside of your bug out bag and also your vehicle or get home bag. Meal, Ready-to-Eat options are of course a great thing to have when you need something fast. But there are some compromises. Survival ration bars are very resilient to the elements but are heavy and bland. Freeze-Dried meal packs are super lightweight, high in nutrition and taste great. But you have to have water and way to boil it in order to rehydrate them. Each option has something to offer which is why I wanted to share my approach to their use!
