What started as a calm day quickly turned into a cold struggle as snow began to fall and icy winds picked up. In the middle of this remote wilderness, I had to rely on my bushcraft and survival skills to set up a warm and cozy shelter using natural materials like fallen tree trunks to stay off the frozen ground.
As the cold intensified, I prepared a simple meal — grilling wild meat over the fire and baking bread directly on the flames — to stay energized through the night.
